Dot to Date

Dot to Date Front

Start each day with a dot

Calendars are often pretty mundane things so we’ve combined it with one of our favourite childhood activities, dot to dot. Dot each day to the next however you like, with whatever you like, a pen; pencil; needle and thread. Each completed card reveals a London landmark. Every pack contains twelve Dot to Date cards (one for each month) and a couple of extras thrown in for good measure.

It's a fun calendar that plays with the rituals and patterns we have in our adult life by contrasting them with the childhood activity of dot-to-dot. The format provides a framework to be used and customised, coloured and scribbled on. As time goes on it becomes a more emotive, personal and unique object, taking on the personality of the user, becoming more valuable in the process.

The calender is received blank except for the numbered dots, packed inside the Dot to Date box that transforms easily into an effective picture frame to display those Dot to Date masterpieces or works in progress.

Dot to Date Gherkin

Dot to Date is graphic and engaging. It becomes something charming and rewarding, resulting in an object that is kept and shared instead of thrown away. There is also an educational element to it, on the reverse side the designs feature information about each landmark.

Dot to Date, the dot to dot calendar, was designed and produced under the Hidden Art Select brand.  It is 100% recycled and recyclable, printed with water and vegitable based inks.
